The Bridge Club Presents..."In coversation with...Sara Davies"

Crafter’s Companion Limited design, manufacture, market and distribute paper crafting products for sales around the world. Sara formed her company at the age of 21 operating from her university bedroom with no outside investment. A driven entrepreneur, she built the company on a vision of innovation; designing and marketing unique customer focused products. She has built the company to a £4mn turnover in four profitable years with constant year-on-year growth and healthy margins; the workforce currently stands at 20 staff in the UK. Products are manufactured locally and exported worldwide and the US subsidiary company was established in 2007.

Sara has recently been named a regional winner at Ernst & Young's Entrepreneur of the Year Awards 2010, for the North & Midlands.  The judges recognised Sara as an emerging entrepreneur in the consumer products genre. In the judges’ words, “What Sara has achieved is remarkable.  She has built a great business through innovation and teamwork and is currently expanding internationally, building on her success in the US. Outstanding!”  Sara will go on to represent the region in the national finals in London later this year.
