Hazel Armstrong Ltd; Designs Unique & Oxley Pratt
Friends Maccine Hall of Designs Unique, Hazel Armstrong of Hazel Armstrong Ltd and Jackie Oxley of Oxley Pratt Accounting Services all began home-based businesses within months of each other in 2006 and met as fledgling businesses while networking. The connection was made and over the last five years the women behind a Graphic Design & Print Company, Credit Control Specialists and Accounting Services Business have supported each other in wide ranging and diverse ways on what can be a lonely journey. Whilst developing their own businesses and moving them forward these women have recognised that it takes a strong woman and a vast amount of skills to set up and run a business.
Maccine Hall said “We decided to jointly sponsor ‘The Best Home-Based Business' award because initially having had the home- based experience we wanted to pay our own tribute to other women with the determination & willpower to succeed in business.
