Our research at Women Into the Network shows that achievable role-models really do play a crucial role in encouraging others to take risks and grow personally and  professionally. Northern Lights features inspiring and enterprising role-models from around the North East, whose stories will inspire you to become entrepreneurs. All 15 women featured are remarkable, and yet we can all relate to at least one of them. They come from a variety of backgrounds, their businesses are located in a variety of sectors, and these women have tackled a whole host of challenges in order to establish themselves in business.

Just for Starters, Edition 1 (2006)

This booklet introduces you to a number of women who started their businesses for a variety of reasons, followed differing routes with a wide range of twists and turns on the way to starting and establishing their businesses. What pace your business start up journey takes is very much up to you!
