Are you a woman in business who wants to help others achieve their dream, help them grow or simply give some sound words of advice? Could you act as a “buddy” for someone attending their first event? There are many ways you can help to support other women – here are just a few: If you would like to support women in business:Be a WIN FacilitatorDo you want to take your networking one step further and help others to network effectively? We are looking for members who want to practice their public speaking and facilitation skills, by attending a WIN networking event. All that is required is for you to introduce yourself and the speaker and say a word of thanks, whilst ensuring that first-time networkers feel at ease. A great chance to hone your chairing/facilitation skills, a chance to meet new contacts, great profile for your business and a free lunch! WIN are putting together a database of networking event facilitators around the region & will be offering a half-day workshop to give you hints and tips on facilitation techniques & the art of good networking. Be A WIN Speaker/TrainerWIN host a number of networking events and workshops throughout the year and are approached by a number of organisations both regionally and nationally to run events in which they are skilled/knowledgeable. The final schedule of events will depend primarily on the expectations and needs of our members. However, a database of potential speakers and trainers is retained so we are able to refer to the skills available as and when the opportunity arises. We are keen to use the vast range of skills of our experienced members and those from around the region, ensuring they receive increased profile and opportunities.
