WIN is proud to launch a brand new programme of arts-related informal learning activities for women across the North East.
Art for Art’s Sake is a series of hands-on arts-related events and activities for women, delivered by WIN and our project partners, Live Theatre, New Writing North, and The Butterfly Project.
The programme provides a platform for you to develop new skills and networks that can create benefit in business as well as everyday life; but it is also way for you to simply enjoy and learn more about the arts in an informal and accessible way.

There are four main activity paths you can follow, which are free to WIN members with a nominal charge of £15+VAT for non-members:
The Art of Networking
Increase your confidence and master essential networking and presentation skills that can help in every aspect of life and work, through these interactive workshops.
The Art of Words
Develop your writing skills and learn to enjoy words in a new way, through creative writing workshops, professional readings, playwriting classes and book clubs.
The Art of Expression
Enhance your understanding of the arts through guided theatre, cinema and gallery trips, talks from actors and directors, and basic acting and performance classes.
The Art of Self-discovery
Explore in small groups how well you really know yourself, and develop new skills, confidence, and friendships that can help you achieve what you want to out of life.
